about us pic.JPG

Hi I'm Deon Blair, director, master loctician and soon to be qualified trichologist.  Regal Roots was established in 2015 and started in a humble salon within my home, a warm inviting environment welcoming you with the fragrance of burning incense.  For the next chapter, Regal Roots then moved to The Palms in South East London, London's first Afro hair and beauty hub.  It was a modern and beautiful space with a bar to boot stocking the famous Wray and Nephew rum and serving lattes, which was a nice accompaniment to getting your hair care needs taken care of.  Chapter 3 of Regal Root's journey is about growth, the team is growing and we are now in Crown Point providing clients with the same great service.  We have an in-house bar serving drinks, smoothies and the famous Blue Mountain Coffee from Jamaica.  Our hair wash units boasts as massage chairs to give our clients the ultimate experience.

Regal Roots aims to please, its not just about coming in getting your hair done and leaving, its about the experience.  My passion for my business has emerged from my own natural hair journey.  I returned natural in 2002 from permanently straightening my hair to then deciding to loc my hair in 2008. Since then I have been doing my own hair and others for years and have put a lot of research into natural hair, how it works and what products work well.  I worked in a locs salon for a while before deciding to branch out on my own. I pride myself and research in the maintenance and nurturing of your crown.

My services include all things locs and natural hair related and use NO harsh chemicals in the products I use and produce.

I look forward to seeing you!
